After an action packed year, the last Junior Judo class of 2025 was held on Friday, 12 December.
Several highlights of the year included members of this class participating at every Wellington Area competition bar the Wellington Open. The pinnacle of our competition year was the Wellington Closed Champs where the team won several placings and for one of the smaller clubs in Wellington punched well above our weight.
We have had several earn stripes for their effort in class and one member achieved Yellow Belt.
Next year promises more action. We are starting a Peewee Judo class for kids 4-5 years old and a packed calendar of events for Judoka of all ages to get involved in. Peewee Judo starts up on Monday, 26 January and is looking for enrollments.

Peewee Judo (4-5 years): Mondays – 4.30 – 5.00pm. First 2 lessons free.
Junior Judo (6-13 years): Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays – 5.00 – 6.30pm. First 4 lessons free.
